Christmas Magic

Tis' the season.....A common statement that is used during the Christmas season. Yes, I said it Christmas, but we will save that for another time. Anyway, I find it outlandish the way that people transform from some of the most rude and down right bastards to some of the most selfless and thoughtful persons you can imagine when Christmas time comes. Seriously, is it something in the air? Can it be bottled? I was one that really disliked this notion, because of the fake and almost entertainer like emotions that it produces, but now I am more intrigued at how it happens. Plus, who wouldn't be gratified at the thought of some @ss-holes who have turned a new leaf, whether it is for a few weeks. I mean, if a person can change their attitude for a season why not for a lifetime? This is one of many questions that will probably remain unanswered. So when it's the middle of December and I am driving to work in the sloshy, nasty weather and I am cut off from an SUV driver 4 wheelin' on the highway and in that instance he raises his hand to extend his IQ, but instead I receive a courtesy waive and an "I'm sorry" I will just smile with amusement for the infamous Christmas magic........
